Slow Worm Safe Haven

Working with national house builder David Wilson Homes, Mill Meadow has provided sanctuary for close to 100 homeless slow worms removed under licence from the site of a new housing development in the nearby village of Bishops Lydeard.
Under guidance from ecologists 8 new hirbernacular were constructed within Mill Meadows designated wildlife areas to provide safe and suitable homes for the new residents!!
With ample grassed areas throughot Mill Meadow the slow worms have excellent habitat and can look forward to a peaceful future.
