How you can help us be greener
Make a difference at Mill Meadow. You can help us reduce our Carbon Footprint. Every little bit helps.
Waste not - please sort your waste as per the guidance sheet and we will make sure we recycle as much as we can.
Strike a light - please turn off lights and appliances at the main socket when not in use and help us to further reduce the carbon footprint of your holiday.
Stepping out - You will see so much more of our beautiful countryside and wildlife from a bike or on foot so why not leave the car and see what treasures you can discover.
Don’t throw in the towel - although we use harvested rain water for laundry washing the process still consumes electricity. You can help further reduce energy consumption by making the most of the towels but if you do need a towel change please let us know.
Less is better - although we try to use low impact cleaning products you can help us by using just enough rather than too much and by making sure the dishwasher is as full as it can be for each cycle.
Stay Local, Eat Local Buy Local, See Local - you don’t have to go far for a great day out or enjoyable meal, try our local venues and you will be pleasantly surprised.

- Be safe, plan ahead and follow any signs
- Leave gates and property as you find them
- Protect plants and animals and take your litter home
- Keep dogs under close control
- Consider other people
